I used to frequent Tiffany's often, even though the first time I went I did end up with an infection. I thought, "well it's just a fluke". The last time I went, I splurged on eyelash extensions, a manicure and pedicure as we were leaving town the next day to attend a reunion in Idaho. Before leaving the shop, me eyes were very red, but as I had never had extensions before, I thought it was normal. We left very early the next morning and my eyes were getting worse. I did get eye drops but they didn't help. While I was taking my turn driving, I went blind in my right eye. We were way out in the middle of nowhere. I googled how to get rid of the lashes. It was a VERY PAINFUL 2 hours of steaming and olive oil. The next day we found an urgent care center. MAJOR eye infection. I did notify Tiffany. I was hoping for a refund but didn't get one. I will NEVER go there again. In addition to the money I paid, I had to pay over $100 for medical bills and medications, AND it took a few weeks for my eyes to return to normal.
I WAS a loyal customer at Tiffany's but today was very disappointing. I went in early for a medi, pedi and eyebrow wax. After I stated what I wanted they tried to upsale me to the point I had to raise my voice with a NO. The tech that did my nails keep hurting me with the way she clipped my cuticle. They began getting busy and needed my chair, they told me my pedi was dry and rushed me into the wax room when I tried to put on my shoe, my pedi was not dry and it smeared..when I asked to have it fixed and the smeared nail polish removed the tech rolled her eyes and sighed but she did fix it. Once inside the wax room Tiffany was talking on the phone, applied the wax, it was too hot & burned my skin, I told her that it was to hot and she ignored me applied it and again burned me. I told her again and she brushed it off and told me to look in the mirror cuz I was fine. They lost a loyal customer today..not that it seems to matter.
