I'm giving Gowdy 2 stars for hooking up our hot tub. Here's why:
+ Quality of work that Nick performed was great.
+ He was on time and very professional.
Why I'm knocking them three stars:
- 1 for having to follow up multiple times to get an appointment after Ginger said she'd contact me with their availability (took 6 weeks from initial contact to booking).
- 1 for Ginger miscalculating our materials cost. They originally billed us for $500 as "1 Material" - when I asked for an itemized breakout, she realized she did her math wrong - a $150 mistake! Good thing I asked...
- 1 for feeling like they pulled a fast one on us. The house had a breaker ready less than 10 feet from the hot tub and we were charged for 200-feet of wiring and 6.5 hours of work. I've talked to multiple people who are familiar with this type of work and they all feel like we got hosed here.
