As a long-time resident, Hoyt is my go-to for postal service. It's a high usage, downtown site: come earlier in the afternoon for shortest lines; the lines are longest near closing. The staff is friendly, professional, but under pressure to serve quickly since some self-centered folks want their custom-tailored service experience without waiting patiently for their turn. Hoyt Station is full service to all people in a large-ish city... be willing to engage your inner resources, or talk to a queue neighbor to pass the time. Have your stuff already packaged, don't expect the staff to ready your mind, be sober, leave the dogs in the car (windows down), be patient with ESL transactions, etc. Smile. These & similar expressions of patience have served me well. Finally, DO offer them your positive ideas to improve the customer experience. We'll all benefit!
