The best part about the Tavern on Denver is the sweet simplicity. They offer only beer and wine (the one place in town where I've encountered Mike's Hard Lemonade as an option-- classic OR black-cherry flavored!), a purely microwaveable food selection (the two dollar breakfast burritos certainly are tempting), and slightly rough-and-tumble yet highly entertaining clientele (once when I was there, my boyfriend was instructed by a fellow patron to get his "old lady" [meaning me] to suggest a Keno number-- anything but 69, because that "was already taken, hardy har har"). Need I say more?
