The food was good and portions were filling. However, the prices are out of scale. Is this a pub or a fancy restaurant. If they're going to charge fancy restaurant prices, they should at least have bread. If they're going to be a pub, then have pub food and lower their prices. Their drink selection is excellent though. We will most likely not be back.

We had the "Dinner for Two" which, that night, was chicken and dumplings. It was absolutely delicious! Very flavorful. The waitress told is that is does take 25-30 minutes in case we wanted to get an appetizer so we tried the parmesan herb fries with homemade ketchup. Very well done. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable in a great old building. I love that they highlight the age of the building rather than update everything. They had outside seating that would still use on a night just a little bit warmer. The price was moderate and reasonable. The waitstaff seemed just a little bit hurried and service (for drinks) could have been just a little better but. Appetizer came out very quickly and dinner came out in time communicated (25-30 minutes). Overall, we liked it a lot and will go back.
