OK, so here's the thing. This used to be *the* Park and Ride before the Orange MAX stop opened about a half-mile up McLoughlin. This Park and Ride has *way* more spots than that one, and it was always full, even when it was mostly serviced by the 33 and 99. Now, the MAX serves way more people but offers way less parking. You do the math.
So why am I rating this five stars? Because there's acres and acres of parking, I can park here and ride my bike in to work, or I can park here and walk up to the MAX. It's reliable, luxurious, and vaguely wasteful. It's, like, the closest thing to a private jet I will ever have, and yet it doesn't cost me a dime.
I'm sure it's only a matter of time until TriMet takes this away from me, like they took away my 99 Express from Oregon City. They will break my heart. They always do. But for now, while literally *any one* of a thousand spots is extravagantly available to me, any time, day or night, the Milwaukie Park and Ride gets my five stars.
