My 2001 Subaru Forester blew its engine on my way to Warm Springs and I had it towed to Madras. After asking around town for the best shop to work on Subaru's, everyone recommended I take it to Cliff's. I contacted Cliff''s and worked directly with Josh (Lead Mechanic @ Cliff's). Josh was fantastic from the beginning. He provided me with a diagnosis quickly and talked me through my options. His knowledge and experience specific to Subaru's was very clear right from start. After he confirmed that I would need a new engine, he presented two options of replacement engines; explaining the positives/negatives of each option. With Josh's guidance, I decided on the most appropriate option for my needs. He provided an accurate bid/quote, as well as an accurate timeline for completion and began the work. Josh and the team at Cliff's exceeded my expectations; completing the work on schedule and right on target; inline with estimated quote. Josh went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The work was meticulous and his attention to detail confirmed I had made the right choice. Josh and the team provided amazing customer service and always answered my questions. Josh answered the phone EVERY time I called and always provided me with accurate updates and communication regarding his progress and completion of the work. Additionally, When I was unable to arrive on a weekday to pick up my car, Josh actually met me on his day off (when the shop was closed) to pick up my car. I highly recommend Cliff's Repair to anyone who appreciates precision work, affordable service and amazing customer service! 10/10.
***I waited a few months to write this review to thoroughly test-drive my car after the engine was replaced. I have had ZERO issues!!! My Subaru runs and drives better than it ever has.
