The Eye Center

I called to make a follow-up appointment with the doctor I'd seen in the past, and was told he'd retired. Fine. Made an appointment to see a different doctor. When I actually showed up for the appointment the office staff kept calling me up to their desk, asking stupid questions trying to make excuses for why I should make an appointment with yet another doctor that I'd seen once years ago. My appointment time came and went. More calling up to the desk. I felt unwelcome. I felt as though there was something they were not telling me, and I expressed my discomfort and suggested that perhaps I should just leave. The front desk staff agreed, so I did. Not going back there. The different groups of doctors that use The Eye Center seem to share appointment software and records, so when you make an appointment you are not necessarily talking to the office where the appointment is being made. It is a conglomeration that seems to provide all the worst aspects of separate practices with the worst aspects of group practices. I am through with them.
