I needed to get old cedar shakes removed and new roof put on. Although I got a cheaper bid from a different contractor, I decided to go with BEST because I thought hand nailing was better than using nail guns and also because BEST said they could complete my job in two days (which they were able to do). The guys who came out were hard workers and I thought the quality of work was very good to excellent. They also cleaned up around the house afterwards. I am very happy with my new roof! The Best Roofing team did an excellent job of tearing off the old roof and hand nailing the new roof. I was concerned that some of the flowers and plantings around my home would suffer from the job but the guys did an excellent job of making sure nothing came off the roof into my garden. They kept the job site absolutely clean. Don Shuflin of Best Roofing first roofed our home over twenty years ago when we bought the house. He hand nailed each shingle and we have never had a problem with shingles blowing off. We never had to worry about our roof through the Oregon Coast storms and high winds. It was an excellent job, but time and weather take their toll and it was time to replace the whole roof. The Best Roofing team tore off the old roof and replaced it with high quality roofing that should last a lot longer. It only took them about two days to do the whole job! The workmen were prompt, cheerful and efficient and I really appreciate the great job they did. I am confident this new roof will last many years through the harsh Oregon Coast weather and storms.
