Ashland Emergency Food Bank

You folks are amazing. I drove over today to get my Christmas bag, so now I have a turkey breast, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, celery, carrots, and some green beans and potatoes and gravy that I gave to a neighbor who had her lower leg amputated this fall. Then you had mittens, scarves, and books for the kids, even some in Spanish. Had I room in my apartment, you folks were giving away live trees too. A young man helped me get my bag into the car, which I usually have help from a caregiver, but with the new snow, her car didn't start this morning. You are making this Christmas a real blessing for folks who have no family around, or they have a large family and not enough money for special groceries at this time of year. Bless you all, and all who have donated so much time and food to make this a much merrier Christmas for many of us!
