My first haircut experience was good, I got a same day appointment, the stylist listened patiently and did a fine job. I left an above average cash tip with the gentleman who checked me out at the desk to give to the stylist.
When I called a few months later to rebook I made a Saturday appointment a week ahead of time and just as I was hopping on my bike to ride there I missed a call from them saying they had to cancel because the stylist was no longer working there and that all other stylists were booked for about a week. No apologies or anything about the last minute cancellation. I called them back within a minute and left a message on their answering machine to see if I could reschedule for next week and it's been a couple of weeks and I never received a call back! One: why did they wait until a half hour before my appointment to call and cancel? Two: why did no one return my phone call? Terrible customer service.
