While a bit smaller than other REI stores I have been to, the staff is true to the REI standard of knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It's not the cheapest outdoor gear supply store but one of the best for quality goods and service. Shop their sales and get the best of both worlds. A great option for beginners to experts for quality equipment and clothing. One of the few places locally that stock size 14 and larger in their boots and shoes.

One of the smallest REI around, but good staff and decent foods and supplies for cycling and camping. Pay a little more but have a good return policy.
