Picnic House

Picnic House is my fave restaurant in pdx. It has an awesome and unique setting that can't be explained in words. You step into a hipster aesthetic version of Alice and Wonderland when you go to PH. Also, Barlow, the bar connected, is also one of my faves for a classy but low key place to grab a drink. The grilled cheese is the absolute best thing to eat (however last time I went they skimped on the cheese). I recommend reservations Thurs-Sun.

This is such a cool place! I would recommend coming in just because the decor is so great. We came for lunch on a weekday, and it was crowded enough that a reservation was definitely necessary. Food was good, and they have options at more reasonable price points if you aren’t looking to spend a ton.
