While the practices of yoga in class for this studio are amazing, the way staff treat clients as whole and their account management system is terrible and appalling. I was charged for an introductory monthly rate and then on return told that I was not in the system. After looking through my records, I saw no charge, so I swiped my card again and attended class feeling as thoug this studio didn’t trust me. A few days later I noticed I was double charged at the monthly introductory rate with two transactions. On discovering this I called the studio and was told that I needed to prove this by bringing in a bank statement. I then emailed Modo my frustration and decided to go back in and talk with them. I ended up talking to one of the owners who promised to get it resolved as soon as possible with accounting, giving her my number to contact me despite having my number on their system. I agreed and by the end of the day heard nothing. I still am waiting for my entire refund minus the cost of one drop in class because I have little confidence that this studio knows how to manage my account.
Update: The studio did eventually apologize and refund my payment in full after talking to numerous people, including two owners, so I am changing my review from 1 star to 3 stars.
