First, the environment. From outside it is warm and inviting and I was really excited to go in.
But it is silent in there. They have no music playing, nobody else in there was talking. It was uncomfortable. My boyfriend and I were talking and literally everyone in there could hear us.
Additionally the tables were not getting cleaned very quickly, we had to wipe our own table off. This is because there were only 3 people working so the person ringing up orders was also cleaning, but it did not help the environment issue. She seemed like she was in training because she had some problems with fairly easy tasks like giving us drinks that we paid for while we were at the counter. She just kinda spaced on that.
The food itself. It is slightly below average. I paid an extra almost 3 dollars for a very small portion of beef in my ramen. There were no extra flavors or spices, nothing that set it apart. The noodles were well done but the bowl had the taste of being cooked in separate parts and tossed together. The edamame had no salt.
And that brings me to the last straw for me.
They had no salt or pepper.
