I've always been weary of mechanics due to a few experiences I've had in the past with unscrupulous mechanics. I took my car to two other places (one down the street and a Meineke, both with great Google reviews). Both misdiagnosed my car and encouraged unnecessary work including a new muffler. Fortunately I went to a muffler shop who said it wasn't the muffler and referred me to Maynard's. I'm glad he did as Chuck was able to quickly diagnose my car and fix the issues for a reasonable price. I felt the staff here were honest and fair in their dealings, a rare quality these days.
