A family member ate here yesterday and recommended Joe's Burgers to me because they use grass-fed beef in their burgers. Skeptical about this I checked their website and found out that while they are "grass fed" they are also "grain finished" towards the end of their lives.
100% Grass-fed beef is a much healthier option than grain finished beef in many ways. The meat contains healthier fats and a lot less pesticides. Grain finished animals consume GMO tainted corn and other grains that ruin their digestive track. It is standard practice (and the law) that cattle are "grass fed" at the beginning of their lives.
I'm hoping Joe's Burgers one day switches to 100% grass fed beef. I will definitely give it a try if they do.
