I am extremely disappointed that the Hillsboro P & R department uses pesticides that are lethal to wild bee populations. The recent death of 75,000 bees in Hillsboro and Wilsonville has damaged the small and ailing wild bee populations in an area of the country that is dense with agriculture. Bees deserve our protection and respect, not to die by the thousand in a Target parking lot.
