DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I don't even know where to start. She did everything she could to absorb our entire deposit, and sent us a huge bill to replace the carpet, WHICH THEY NEVER ACTUALLY REPLACED! It was an attempt at a scam, which didn't work, I got a lawyer and we settled after threatening to take them to court. On a more personal note - At one point during our lease we had taken our 1-year-old daughter to a check-up, they found a large tumor in her tummy and immediately sent us to OHSU in Portland. This happened to fall on the 1st of the month, so I called Sherry (First Rate) to let her know the situation, that I had a check ready for her, but we were already on our 3-hour drive to the hospital. I offered to make arrangements to get them paid, but she said "don't worry, take care of your daughter, we will settle up when you get home". When we got back, check in hand, she had a massive late fee for us! Thanks Sherry...
