The dr and assistant/technician were very kind to me and made my experience great. The front office however is absolutely no good. They overcharged me over 100$ that is covered by my insurance. I had to call my insurance twice and actually had have my mom email someone she knows personally that works for our tribal insurance to sort everything out. Finally I was told I am getting a refund. Before this, the front desk called me at 5:50pm to tell me my eye glasses are ready for pick up. Their hours are 8am-6pm. When I got there the next day to pick them up I made sure they knew the issue with my insurance. The woman at the desk asked the woman helping me with the glasses about the insurance. She proceeded to tell her “ I dont have the insurance information in my hand, I have her glasses in my hand.” When the front desk phoned my insurance, the lady helping me told me “IF you get the refund it could take up to 2-3 weeks. She rolled her eyes over to the side and said “let’s hope it doesn’t take that long” the woman at the desk got off the phone and told me I was not getting a refund and that the insurance was billed correctly. And that’s when I had to go through several phone calls and emails to get the right answer. That in fact, my insurance did cover the 100$+ they overcharged me. I will never be back to this location. I take my business to the eyehealth northwest in Tigard off pacific highway 99. They are great over there
