The campground is clean and hosts were friendly. There are a couple of short trails to walk on, but most areas are not accessible via walking. You have to drive to the day use area on the lake or walk on a road with no shoulders down the cliff wall. Power lines obscure most of the vistas from the campground. There is a nice hike up around the canyon rim starting from the Deschutes campground, but that is six miles away. Showers were nice, but in the first loop only the ADA shower had an adjustable head and the others that I tried had a straight stream that was like standing under a horse.
