Cottonwood Canyon Recreation Area

Beautiful place, but the wind is unbearable. Rv camping for sure. Great bike trails. The only place without wind is where the host campsite is located by the ranger station

You can camp, but there is no shade got tents--yet. There are no electrical hookups, either. It's very hot and there are rattle snakes. There is a crazy amount of little smallmouth bass in the river. It's fun for little kids to learn to fish and splash in the water.
