Wonderful little book shop with lots of different types of used books, all in good to perfect condition for OUTSTANDING prices!! Picked up a hardback vol. 7 Harry Potter book in Perfect condition (still has dust cover in great condition) for $3!! Great selection! Also found three great children's books for my 8 year old son. Total: 4 books for $7!! Cannot beat those prices!! Will DEFINITELY be going back!! **All books are donated, I plan on bringing in some of my old books to re-fill what I buy!
I loved this place the moment I walked in and smelled the books. This is a one-of-a-kind place, an old house nestled among huge old pine trees that actually belongs to the Beaverton library. It is filled with books of all kinds and the prices are from $1 to $5. That's it. I could have stayed for hours, and there are nooks in which you can sit and read and no one bothers you. There are also CDs, paperbacks, hardbound, fine art, photography, science, etc. The Book Corner is right across 5th Street across from the Beaverton Water Park and a block from Hall Blvd. All but one person who works there is a volunteer. Proceeds go to the Beaverton Public Library.
Such a great book store! The inventory is constantly rotating. There is always something new. It's well organized too and the staff is very helpful. A huge bonus is that everything is ridiculously affordable. Books are $1-2.00 for the most part, and there are even DVDs, CDs, and books on CD. There is an entire room dedicated to children's books, everything from board books to young adult fiction. All proceeds benefit the Beaverton City Library. Another tip for book collectors: they do have rare books in the back, you just have to ask.
