The Bay House

My coworkers and I stopped in here the other night. We’ve enjoyed the local cuisine so far but the portion sizes have been way too much so we wanted a change of scene. I’m soooo glad we did! The pork belly was amazing, tender and crispy. The perfect amount of sweet and salty. I also had the duck w/ lentils and Brussels sprouts. The duck will absolutely melt in your mouth, and I don’t know what particular brand of crack they use in the Brussels sprouts, but it was life changing. Perfect portion sizes in my opinion! The service was fantastic, they took very good care of us here. I will say that the food was so good it ruined other restaurants for me. Last night we visited another restaurant in town with excellent reviews, but the food fell flat for me and I kept talking about the Bay House. My only regret was that I couldn’t eat it all due to being pregnant in my first trimester so food in general makes me ill. I will say that I never powered through the sickness so hard until I tried their food. I WILL be back tonight to give it another go, mark. my. words!!!
